Meeting Notes January
13, 2004
We had a very good turnout for the January
meeting of CP. We had a total of 14 people at Mimi's.
Dual PCNC and CP member Mike Drew paid his CP dues at this
meeting. This makes Mike eligible for a CP office at the elections in
October. Mike reported that his Pantera is almost track ready (it has
started and been driven a few feet).
The members and friends of the Capitol Panteras
will be going to a Champagne Brunch on Sunday, February 8 at
Basil's by the Lake at the Radisson Hotel, Sacramento. After brunch, those
who wish can go to AutoRama at nearby Cal Expo. We have a
reservation time of 10 AM. The cost is $24.95 for those age 55
and up, $29.95 for those between 13-55, and $15.95 for those age
6-12. Free for those under 6 years of age. Please e-mail Jim &
Emilia if you will be joining the group for brunch. Check out the link for the
restaurant. It has been voted the best brunch in Sacramento for the past
four years. If the weather allows, we can take some club car photos
at the Radisson.
Club car photos are still needed! Please
e-mail your photos along with a description/history of your car to Web
Master Ken. This is your chance to display your car without going to a car
show!
There will again be an April CP Tech Session
courtesy of Rick Carlile. It will be the first weekend in April. Thank you
Rick for hosting this event.
John Worsley is planning a Brunch run
to Thunder Hill Casino for the spring. The date will be set at a later
meeting.
John McNamee announced that the Kentucky Derby
Car Show is set for Saturday May 1, 2004. This is a class
act. John will have sign up sheets at the February CP meeting.
