Summary of the January 2011 Capitol Panteras Meeting
The January meeting had no Panteras in
the parking lot at Mimi's. Light rain and cold weather discouraged
all. Attending the meeting; Jim & Emilia Seiferling, Ken
Montgomery, Rick Carlile, John Worsley, Don Gagnon, Lori Albino and Mike
Drew. We had a raffle for a mystery envelope, donated by Don
Gagnon. It was won by Don! Jim eventually won the prize by making an
extra donation to the kitty. The prize was a custom "Powered by
Ford" sticker that Don had originally had several made for himself.
The main thing accomplished at this months meeting was the
preliminary set up of the yearly calendar for the Capitol Panteras. We
want to thank those members that stepped up to chair club events. The only
major item that is still not confirmed is the Club Christmas Party for
2011. We have a couple of dates in mind but we need a host of the
event. The Club calendar is a work in progress and can be amended as new
items come up. So if you have an idea for a Club event for this coming
year, please bring your idea to a meeting or email Jim to get placed on the
calendar.
Mike Drew will be keeping Capitol Panteras in the loop as
far as PCNC activities. As the PCNC dates firm up, the events will be
added to the Capitol Panteras calendar. As always, any POCA member is
welcome to attend any Capitol function. We only ask that you tell
us that you are coming.
Please read over the Club calendar and mark your personal
calendar so that you don't miss any of the Capitol Pantera events this coming
year.
Wanted: Articles for CP Newsletter
If you have attended a car function of any type, please
write about your car adventures and send it to jes@riverdeltawireless.com
to be included in the next Capitol Pantera newsletter. If
newsletter articles are not received, then it will be more of Jim &
Emilia's automotive adventures or "The Motoring Mouth"
